Class files and QR code tips

Class friction is often broken links, blurry photos, or rejected attachments, not the lesson itself.

Sharing materials

Turn long form or drive URLs into QR codes for the projector. Keep the content short. Do not leave Wi-Fi passwords posted in hallways for weeks.

Merge weekly handouts into one PDF, or split by week, so students grab the right version.

Add a short label next to the code, such as “this week’s handout,” so students know what they are opening.

Collecting work

State the rule: PDF or images to PDF, suggested max edge, and whether to strip location metadata. Point students at the email and portal guide for size checks.

Random Picker works for cold-call or multi-name groups from a pasted roster.

Keep grade sheets off public group drives. Use the channel your school requires.

Spot-check a few submissions for orientation and page order before grading day.

QR codes and file tools run in your local browser and are not uploaded to our servers. Still store rosters and grades the way your school requires.
